Holy crap, the Cavs just made a huge trade with the Bulls and the Sonics! According to multiple sources, the Cavs will give up Larry Hughes and Drew Gooden, Shannon Brown and Cedric Simmons to the Bulls. They will send Donyell Marshall, and Ira Newble to the Sonics. The Cavs will get Ben Wallace and Joe Smith from the Bulls, and Wally Szczerbiak and Delonte West from the Sonics! Big Ben’s a center, but can play power forward, and Joe Smith is a competent forward. Szczerbiak has a great 3 point percentage and is a good shooter. Delonte West is a good point guard and can free up Daniel Gibson to be a shooting guard. This is a very interesting trade. I think there are a few more details that aren’t hammered out, but this is the general trade. This gives the Cavs a great opportunity to step it up and make the finals for the second year in a row. Finally, LeBron has some help.
